    Yeah but the odd time signatures and Mick Karn’s fretless bass-o-matic playing kept me riveted until the end of their career. Me, I’ll spilt the difference and say the discofied glamour of their transitional QUIET LIFE LP from ‘79 was their pinnacle. Any takers?

    Me…I love it all. Japan was great from beginning to end. Granted the early stuff is more of a guilty pleasure.
