Flesheaters – Disintegraton Nation (Upsetter) 1978. The first Flesheaters EP is pretty stratightforward early LA punk rock with the waaaaaaay over-the-top Chris D vocals above the mix. My understanding is that Chris recruited the local band The Flyboys to be his backup band on this one. It makes sense because it sounds very similar to the Flyboys 7inch.
Chris would go on to do the great No Questions Asked LP with another ad-hoc group containing Stan Ridgeway of Wall of Voodoo. After that comes the classic “A Minute To Pray, A Second To Die” with another group of Flesheaters. This is where it started though.

The songs don’t seem to work. Broken Links?
Yup…sorry. All fixed.
This is a great one. You’re reading my mind lately, between this post and the Gears
Thanks alot Joe! Been on and off trying to buy this at eBay but never got my thumb out of my mouth to do it. Just as great as I imagened it would be.
Gears, Flesheaters, Plugz, Agent Orange…all timeless summer music to me. Guess its the time of year.
Oh nice! I really like Flesheaters but I only got some sort of best of Lp…they were on that Return of the Living Dead soundtrack, no? along with the Cramps et al…anyway…CHEERS
